To have a beautiful blend of summer flavours, combine your favourite blend of sweet liquids, sour fruits, crisp veggies, and delectable surprise components and make your own smoothie. Listed below are some super easy smoothie recipes that you can easily try at home. Check them out:
1. Dates Banana Shake (By Chef Piyush Kankaria, The Yellow Straw)
Ingredients:
- 1 pc of ripe banana, cut into small pcs
- 6 pcs of de-seeded Kimia dates
- 150 ml of milk
- 3-4 cubes of ice
Method:
- Blend all the ingredients in a high-speed blender.
- Smoothie is ready to be served.
2. PB U Jelly (By Chef Simran Panchamia, Za)
Ingredients:
- Peanut butter 2 tb spoons
- Slow-cooked berry jam- 2 tb spoons or to taste
- Milk- 60 ml or more if you want the smoothie to be thinner
- Tonnes of crushed ice
Method:
- Just throw them in your blender till you are happy with the consistency.
- Top it with some more jelly and crushed peanuts.
3. Tropical Healthy Smoothie Bowl (By Riju, Executive Chef, Craft Coffee)
"Smoothie bowls are essentially more nutrient-dense smoothies, thick enough to eat with a spoon and often topped with fruits, nuts, seeds etc. ", said the chef.
Ingredients:
- Avocado
- Seasonal fruits
- Nuts
- Multigrain Seeds
- Granola
Method:
- Blend all seasonal fruits. Add banana.
- Top with granola, nuts and multigrain seeds.
4. Vanilla Crunch (By Chef Prabir Mistry, Q33)
Ingredients:
- 150ml milk
- 40ml Chocolate Syrup
- 03 nos. Cookies (crushed)
- 01 Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
- Crushed Ice
Method:
- Pour everything into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve chilled.
5. Popcorn Caramel Smoothie (By Chef Sonal Athwani, Sage Bistro & Bakery)
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon popcorn syrup
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon honey optional
- Garnish with popcorn and caramel sauce
Method:
- Place all the ingredients (except popcorn and a tsp of caramel sauce) and the yoghurt in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- If the smoothie seems too thick add a little milk. Taste and add a little honey if required.
- Pour into a glass and top it with popcorn and drizzle caramel sauce and serve.
6. Energy Booster (By Tarun Shetty, Corporate Chef, SMAAASH)
Ingredients:
- Banana- 1
- Avocado- 1/2
- Walnuts- 50g
- Yoghurt- 250ml
Method:
- Take all the ingredients, along with 25g of walnuts and blend it into a fine mixture.
- Coarsely grind the rest of the walnuts and mix it with the smoothie.
- Serve it cold and enjoy.
7. Very Berry Smoothie Bowl (By Chef Banshidhar Parida, 3102 BCE)
Ingredients:
- Frozen Blueberry – 50gms
- Greek Yoghurt – 150gms
- Honey to taste
For Garnish:
- Sliced Banana
- Sliced Kiwi
- Sliced Red Apple
- Chia Seeds
- Flax Seeds
- Pomegranate Arils
- Mint Leaves
Method:
- First make the blueberry yoghurt by blending the frozen blueberries, greek yoghurt and honey in a blender and pour it out into a bowl.
- Top with fresh fruits like banana, kiwi, and red apple. Top with chia seeds, flax seeds, pomegranate arils and fresh mint leaves.
