New Delhi: Lohri is a festival that is enthusiastically observed, particularly in northern India. The festival which particularly signals the start of the harvest and the festive season, Lohri is celebrated primarily in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana and occurs one day before Makar Sankranti.
