The FDCI India Couture Week 2024 fashion parade is going on and enthusiasts have all eyes on the trendy looks and stunning designs as celebrities walk the red carpet in all shine and glory. Day 6 of the India Couture Week 2024 saw beautiful designs by designer Gaurav Gupta's latest collection, 'Arunodaya' as Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina turned showstoppers. Arunodaya, derived from the Sanskrit words 'Arun' (dawn) and 'Udaya' (rise or daybreak), signifies the auspicious moment of early dawn when the first rays of the sun break through the darkness, symbolising hope and new beginnings.

Through sculptural silhouettes and intricate embroidery, showstoppers Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina brought the vision of couturier Gaurav Gupta to life.






ABOUT KHUSHI KAPOOR'S OUTFIT:


Khushi Kapoor was garbed in a fitted ivory-coloured mermaid skirt and a full-sleeve blouse, paired with a shoulder cape. Her outfit was embellished with a lot of dripping crystals, pearls, and Zardozi embroidery. Amid shimmer and shine all over her outfit, Khushi chose to wear an elegant necklace that looked perfect. To complete her look, she opted for minimal makeup and wore her hair in soft waves. 


As per a report by News 18, Khushi Kapoor said, "Walking for Gaurav for my debut walk is like stepping into an ethereal dream. His designs seamlessly blend fantasy with reality, and being a part of his journey is truly an honour."






ABOUT VEDANG RAINA'S OUTFIT:


To complement Khushi's outfit, Vedang opted for a jet-black sherwani embellished with beadwork. As per the News 18 report, he said, "Gaurav’s visionary artistry is unparalleled. His ability to transform fabric into wearable art is extraordinary. I am thrilled to be a part of his vision and this collection"


ABOUT GAURAV GUPTA'S COLLECTION 'ARUNODAYA':


Gaurav Gupta's collection, "Arunodaya," signified the early dawn, symbolizing hope, renewal, and infinite possibilities. The collection featured intricate embroideries combining Indian Zardozi techniques with surreal lines and colourful embroidery. The colour palette mirrored an early morning sky, with hues like white, ivory pearl, comet blue, petal pink, mauve, slate, sand, Bordeaux, and lava.


KHUSHI KAPOOR AND VEDANG RAINA WORK FRONT:


Meanwhile, on the work front, Khushi will be next seen in a film opposite Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, while Vedang will star as Alia Bhatt's brother in Vasan Bala's escape thriller 'Jigra'.
