Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, set to feature in Siddharth Anand's upcoming film "Fighter," recently provided a glimpse into his opulent Mumbai residence. The living area offers a sea view and boasts graffiti-adorned walls. Despite drawing inspiration from Santorini for the overall design, Hrithik made a distinctive choice by incorporating a vending machine stocked with chocolates and juices, hailing it as "one of the nicest decisions he has ever taken".
Speaking to Design HQ for National Geographic India, Hrithik mentioned that his home features quotes that have profoundly influenced his life. He said, "If there has ever been a certain phrase or a certain quote or a certain thought of my own that has affected my way of life and has helped me in some way in my life to take decisions, I have collected them all and I keep them around the house".
The living area also houses monkey bars, where Hrithik enjoys time with his children. Reflecting on the inspiration behind his home, he shared an anecdote from the shooting of "Mohenjo Daro," where he stumbled upon a stone marked 'neel.' Instantly recognizing it as an inspiration, he momentarily set aside thoughts of his character in the film.
Hrithik showcased a reading nook in his residence, emphasising that he journals daily when not occupied with work. While acknowledging the absence of a pool table, he explained its removal, stating he rarely used it. When questioned about his culinary skills, Hrithik revealed he has never cooked in his home, but occasionally prepares breakfast for his children when they are on the move.
Having last appeared in the 2022 film "Vikram Vedha" alongside Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik is gearing up for "Fighter," co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. Despite the box office reception of his previous film, it found appreciation upon its OTT release.
