Currently, India has more than 450 million (45 crores) monthly active internet users and over 1.5 billion users worldwide watch millions of videos and generating billions of video views on YouTube and other platforms on a daily. Today, YouTube's top stars and content creators have more audiences than the population of some countries.


Many of the these social media stars are getting more views than some of the most popular TV programs in India. Coming back to fashion, women across all age groups, in India and across the globe, often hunt in the internet for beauty tips, creative ideas to wear outfits, make-up tips, skin/hair and personal care. Tapping the trend, popular YouTuber and TikTok star Aashna Hegde has maintained her style game. The famous fashion professional has kept it classy, simple, easy to go and above all chic.


Hedge keeps no stone unturned to make her presence awestruck. From salwar-kurtas, animal printed gowns, denims, crop tops, floral skirts to off-shoulders, Aashna carries them with ease and elegance. Speaking about her on fleak style game, Aashna says, “I have always loved dressing up and looking presentable, while keeping it simple & classy. Although, amidst the trend, I make sure that my individuality is at no stake”."


"My Inspiration is the love from all my social media followers. They are motivating and loving. They keep me going even in the hard times," she adds. Speaking about her journey as a YouTuber and inception of the idea, she said, "It has just been incredible for me so far! I am so grateful for all the love I have received. I wanted to make videos that I enjoyed watching myself, and fashion videos was one of them," adding that most important thing in fashion is about comfort and feeling confident for inside.


On the part of roadblocks she faced in her initial days on social media, Hegde said, "Well I think that for everyone the initial days are about the hustle, and it still is for me. I haven’t overcome it and I wouldn’t want to. I would say it’s the grind that makes it more fun."


According to her, the most important thing about vlogging is about "being yourself!" However, she admits that it is very tricky to balance sometimes but it’s so crucial. "I think if you feel like you’ve got it, just take the risk and follow your passion, she said.


Sharing her work-life balance and how much she puts into her videos, Hegde said, "I would say 90 per cent because that is how real I want to keep it but at the same time I would want to keep 10 per cent to myself." Hegde also said that being a Youtuber is a passion for her which has now turned into an occupation too.
