This innovation will significantly enhance patient convenience. The integration of medical records from various healthcare providers will be streamlined, offering patients a seamless journey through their healthcare experience. This technological shift will eliminate the need for redundant investigations, as doctors can access comprehensive records, expediting diagnoses.

  • The evolution of technology also extends to the monitoring of patients. Upon admission, patient signals will be transmitted directly to monitors, automatically detecting and interpreting electrical currents within the body. This process will expedite diagnoses and improve overall patient care. Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a pivotal role in this transformative landscape. AI-based technologies enable faster detection of conditions such as strokes, even in later stages, enhancing the overall quality of treatment.

  • In specific medical fields, such as oncology, genetic studies have paved the way for precision medicine. Customised treatments tailored to an individual's genetic makeup optimise therapeutic outcomes. There is a collective shift towards a more connected, data-driven, and patient-centered healthcare industry."

Remote diagnosis and monitoring, healthcare aggregators, artificial simulations, and wearable technology will aim at bridging the healthcare accessibility gaps, particularly in remote or underserved locations. For doctors, medical simulation resembles a computer game, that mimics what occurs in actual hospitals so that physicians may practice risk-free. It has been demonstrated that these simulations can enhance patient care and also aid in their improvement as doctors, surgeons, and decision-makers. They are used by doctors for training, research, and skill development. There are other varieties, such as virtual reality simulations of surgeries or ones that resemble actual hospitals," she added.
