Guru Purnima 2021, July 24: The festival of Guru Purnima is considered to be sacred and holy as per Hinduism. The festival of Guru Purnima is dedicated to the Gurus or the preachers who guide someone spiritually and morally. As per Hinduism, the place of Guru in life is considered to be supreme.
On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Guru's are shown respect, and blessings are obtained from them. According to the belief, the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month is called Guru Purnima.
