Ganesh Chaturthi 2021 Date: According to Panchang, the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the fourth day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Modaks: An idol of Lord Ganesha is placed on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Modaks are also offered on the day, as they are considered to be Lord Ganesha's favourite food.
Motichoor Laddoo: : Lord Ganesha is also quite fond of Motichoor Laddoos. Therefore, these are also offered to him on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Besan (Gram Flour) Laddoo:: Lord Ganesha is said to like Besan (Gram Flour) Laddoos too. These are also offered during the 10 days of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Kheer (Rice Pudding):: According to a legend, Lord Ganesha used to feast on Kheer, a kind of rice pudding, when his mother, Goddess Parvati used to prepare it for his father, Lord Mahadev. Hence, kheer is a must to offer to Lord Ganesha.
