Ayodhya Ram Mandir: A Look At Surya Pillars At Dharma Path, Veena At Lata Mangeshkar Chowk And More

The stretch of road extending from Saket Petrol Pump to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk has been transformed into the 'Dharma Path.' The two-kilometer route with two lanes, has now been expanded to four lanes.

It's just 2 days left for the consecration of Ramlala and right now the country has all eyes on Ayodhya. Pictures, Ram Bhajans and stories from the Ramayana are doing the rounds of the internet and amidst all this, Ayodhya is being decked up to welcome Lora Rama, just like it had been done in the mythological tales when he had returned from an exile spanning fourteen years.

Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to welcome thousands of people, including VVIPs and the town, is bustling with activity. The city roads have undergone a complete makeover, with beautification in progress.

Talking about the roads, four fresh routes have been established in Ayodhya, drawing inspiration from the four Vedas- The Bhakti Path, the Ramjanmabhoomi Path, the Ram Path, and the Dharma Path. These pathways represent a fusion of art and modern eminities. Solar-powered lighting will illuminate the streets, and WiFi connectivity will be available on lanes adorned with murals, wall paintings, and sculptures made of pebble stones.

Dharma Path:

The stretch of road extending from Saket Petrol Pump to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk has been transformed as the 'Dharma Path.' What used to be a two-kilometer route with two lanes, has now been expanded to four lanes.

Distinctive Surya pillars, carved with 'Sri Ram' line the roads, symbolising Lord Ram's connection to the Suryavanshi lineage. In addition, walls have been erected along the sides of the Dharma Path, showcasing events from the tales of Ramayan, and have been adorned with intricately crafted terracotta murals. Other eminities, including CCTV surveillance and smart traffic systems have also been installed.

Apart from these, a remarkable 40-foot-long Veena at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, captures attention. Formerly known as Naya Ghat, this intersection has been renamed in honour of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, featuring a widened expanse of 100 feet.

The city of Ayodhya is indeed being adorned with symbols of historical significance, creating an ambiance that invokes the essence of Ram Rajya for devotees as they enter.
