The CM and the protesters boarded the same flight in Kannur. The Congress leader KS Sabarinadhan shared the visual on his Facebook, which is going viral on the social media platform.

CM Vijayan has reached Kannur on Sunday evening and he was moved to reside in the Kannur government guest house instead of his residence in Pinarayi for security reasons amid protests against him. Youth Congress workers took a rally in the morning demanding Vijayan's resignation in connection with the gold smuggling case. Police tried to stop the protesters but the latter removed the barricades as the police used water cannons to disperse them.

Earlier on Saturday, Vijayan, amid facing flak from the opposition in connection with the gold smuggling case, said that allegations weren't going to affect him or his government in any way.
