Chennai: A semi-naked man appeared before the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday and allegedly took bath for 20 minutes while the court proceedings were on in connection with the alleged CD scandal involving former Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi.


According to a report on IANS, the division bench headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi and Sachi Shankar Magadum were hearing a case taken up by advocate Indira Jaisingh. The advocate who represented the victim in the sex CD case brought the matter to the notice of the court after she saw a man bathing semi-naked for 20 minutes while the bench was hearing the PILs.

Indira said, a semi-naked man was visible in the video conferring and he even took bath for 20 minutes. She said that she was exposed to the harassment and the act of the man seemed "intentional and deliberate". 


The advocate also said that the act of the man is sheer contempt of court and she would provide digital evidence to take up the matter. 


In the digital platform, Zoom, the name used by the accused person was Sridhar Bhat, SDMC Ujire. However, the man immediately logged out of the meet once the issue was brought to the notice of the court and he later became unreachable.

Following this, the Karnataka HC instructed the police to trace the man and slap a notice on him. They also told the police to retrieve the electronic data of the incident.
