Lok Sabha Polls 2024: Amit Shah Holds State-Level Meeting In Hyderabad

Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended a state-level meeting of the BJP on Thursday and devised a roadmap for the party's leaders and cadre in Telangana in preparation for the upcoming general elections in a few months. This visit marks Shah's initial presence in the state following the recently concluded Assembly polls, which yielded "disappointing" results for the saffron party, even though it managed to enhance its tally in both votes and seats.

"Amit Shah will visit the Sri Bhagyalakshmi temple (near the historic Charminar). Afterwards, he will address the gathering of party leaders from across the state. Basically the meeting will delve into the party's performance in the Assembly polls and also chalk out the roadmap for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls," BJP sources said.
