At least four people were injured after an SUV hit three bikes near Hulimavu in Bengaluru. Police have registered a case, and an investigation was launched following the incident.






In another incident, a 32-year-old motorcycle rider was killed after being hit by a tractor from behind on a highway in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, police said on Sunday, as reported by PTI.


On Saturday, Pravesh, a resident of Haridwar in Uttarakhand, was returning at night after shopping for Diwali, when he was hit by a tractor on the highway, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said. He died on the spot. The tractor driver fled leaving his vehicle on the spot. Pravesh's body was sent for post mortem and the driver of the tractor is being looked for, PTI reported, citing police.


In Rajasthan, four members of a family from Madhya Pradesh died in Bundi district on Sunday, as reported by PTI. According to the police, the incident took place in the Hindoli police station area when their car collided with a truck on National Highway 52. The victims were headed for Pushkar.


The deceased were identified as Devi Singh (50), his wife Maankhor Kanwar (45), his brother Rajaram (40), and his nephew Jitendra (20), all residents of Gangukhedi village in the Agar-Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh, as reported by PTI. Circle Inspector at Hindoli police station Manoj Sikarwal said that the accident occurred at around 12.30 am when the SUV rammed into a heavy-duty truck from behind near Hindoli town, PTI reported.


The truck driver fled the scene and left his vehicle behind, Sikarwal said. He further stated that efforts were underway to nab him.
