New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said that they are preparing vaccination drives in schools to innoculate kids in the age group of 15-18 while Primary Health Centres have been directed to prepare for administering 'precautionary dose' to those above 60-year-old with co-morbidities.


The vaccination drive in schools to start from January 3 while from January 10 the innoculation camps for eligible above 60-year olds with co-morbidities to start as directed by the Centre, the CM further said.

Meanwhile, the CoWin chief, Dr RS Sharma revealed that children in the age group of 15-18 years will be able to register on the CoWIN app from Jan 1. He also said that they have added an additional feature of (10th) ID card for registration. He clarified that they have this feature as many kids might not have Aadhar or other identity cards to register.
