In a concerning incident, a customer in Tumkur district, Karnataka, discovered a spider mite inside a sealed cold drink bottle. The customer captured a video clearly showing the spider mite floating inside the bottle raising serious questions about food safety and quality control. The video has since gone viral, highlighting a growing issue of contamination in food and beverage products.

This incident is not isolated, as there have been multiple reports of unusual and alarming items found in food products recently. 


In another shocking incident, a woman in Mumbai found a piece of a human finger inside an ice cream cone ordered online for her brother in the Malad area. The woman filed a complaint with the Malad police against the Yummo ice cream company, as reported by NDTV.


In a similar unpleasant incident, a Noida-based woman named Deepa found a centipede stuck to the lid of the tub of an ice cream she ordered online. In a video shared by a social media user on X, the woman mentioned that she had registered a complaint with Blinkit after noticing the centipede and got a refund.


Meanwhile, a renowned restaurant in Hyderabad, known for its biryani and other delectable dishes, was found to be preparing meals in unsanitary conditions using expired or stale ingredients, as reported by Mint. 


Following the incident, Telangana's food safety department conducted inspections at several popular outlets.


A customer also recently found a dead rat in a bowl of sambar in a restaurant in Ahmedabad, as reported by Times of India.
