To ensure a smooth conduct of the touchdown by IAF aircraft, traffic restrictions is placed on the Agra- Lucknow Expressway for general public.
The aircraft touchdown exercise on the Agra Expressway took place near Bangarmau in Unnao district.
This is for the first time that transport aircraft (AN-32) landed and then took off from this highway.
The Lucknow-Agra Expressway is closed for commuters on Tuesday from 10 AM till 2 PM as the Indian Air Force (IAF) plans are conducting a major touchdown exercise involving 20 planes, including the AN-32, Mirage 2000 and Sukhoi 30 MKI, on the highway.
