Russian Girl Arrested For 'Masterminding' Blue Whale Suicide Game
The Blue Whale game or Blue Whale Challenge is believed to be a suicide game wherein a group of administrators give a participant a task to complete daily — for a period of 50 days. According to Russian state investigators, the unnamed arrested female played the game originally. She became an administrator for the site, encouraging other teens to participate in the shocking game. She allegedly pretended to be male in this role. Representational Picture AP
The 17-year-old girl has been held on suspicion of masterminding the online suicide game which is said to be the reason for deaths of more than 130 teens worldwide.
