Chhapra (Bihar) [India], July 08 (ANI): All the accused in the alleged rape case of a student in Chhapra have denied the allegations and said that they are ready to face all kind of tests.

"It's false. We're ready to face all tests. It's an attempt to defame the school," said the accused.

The matter came to light on Friday when the Bihar police arrested six people, including the principal, a teacher, and two students of a private school over the allegations of gang rape of a minor in Chhapra, Bihar.

Speaking on the allegation, the arrested principal said, "We want proper in-depth enquiry."

In her complaint to the police, the girl alleged that the principal, two teachers and 15 students of a school blackmailed and gang-raped her, ever since her father went to jail in December 2017.

She also said, "'I was being threatened, so did not complain earlier."

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to further investigate the matter.

Additional Director General, Bihar, Sanjeev Kumar Singhal on Saturday said, "Six accused have been arrested and a Special Investigation Team has been formed to nab other accused. An investigation is underway".

The case has been registered in Parsagarh, Chhapra that falls under Ekma police station, based on the girl's statement. (ANI)
