PM Modi kick-starts 2 day Gujarat visit; to inaugurate various projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated his 2 day Gujarat tour on Saturday/ ANI IMAGE

The prime minister will also lay the foundation stones for a slew of reconstruction projects in Kedarpuri, including renovation of Adi Guru Shankaracharya's tomb which was devastated in the catastrophic flash floods of 2013.

PM Modi is also set to inaugurate a Medical college and a hospital.

PM will also lay stone of 4 highway schemes worth 5,825 crores. Nitin Gadkari, who is in charge of Roadways, would accompany PM during his visit.

PM would also visit his village on Sunday, where he would inaugurate a railway station. This would be his first visit to his village after being elected as a PM.

PM would also visit the railway station where he used to sell tea in his childhood. The entire station has been decked up with carpets and flowers for Modi’s visit.
