PM's Shramdan For Construction Of Twin Pit Toilet In Varanasi

New Delhi: On the second and last day of his visit to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Shramdaan and contributed personally to build a Twin Pit toilet in his constituency.

A clean India also means a healthier India, Modi stressed. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to his constituency, Varanasi, ending on Saturday.

A survey reveals that the construction of toilets in homes helps people keep away from diseases, Modi added.

I had the opportunity to help in toilet construction in a village nearby. The people of the village have decided to make the village ODF, PM said, while addressing a rally later.

No doubt, PM's repeated personal contribution to Swachh Bharat shows his commitment to cleanliness.
