An FIR has been lodged against the hospital and the District Magistrate (DM) Ravindra Kumar has ordered investigation into the unfortunate incident.

A day after reports of deaths of 49 children in Farrukhabad’s Ram Manohar Lohia Rajkiya Chitkitsalay created ruckus, the hospital’s administration has denied the reports of death due to lack of Oxygen

This is the second case of deaths due to ‘lack of oxygen’ in an Uttar Pradesh hospital. Last month, over 300 children have died in Gorakhpur’s BRD medical college allegedly due to same reason.

In the meanwhile, the doctors of Farrukhabad hospital are against any probe on the matter and have initiated a strike, protesting against the proceedings on officers.
