New Delhi [India], July 28 (ANI): Thirty-six cows were found dead in a cow shelter in Ghumanhera village near Dwarka on Friday.
Local police, who visited the said Gaushala, noted that there were about 1400 sheltered in the gaushala, out of which 36 were found dead.
A letter was then sent to Kuldeep Singh Gangar, Special Development Commissioner, for the constitution of a team of veterinary doctors for inspection and further postmortem to establish the cause of death.
A team of doctors from the veterinary hospital of Kakrola, Goyla Dairy, Najagarh, Dichaun Kalan, Chhawla and Nangli Dairy reached the Gaushala.
The inquiry into the cause of death of all the cows is being conducted.
The Gaushala is run by Acharya Sushil Gosadan Trust at village Ghumanhera in Chhawla area.
The land for the 20-acre gaushala was allotted in the year 1995.
Legal action will be taken in accordance with the prevalent laws, once the report is submitted. (ANI)
