From four countries in 1995 to 56 in 2024 — that’s how Exercise MILAN, the flagship international event of the Indian Navy, has grown in size, stature and prestige in the two decades. This is also indicative of the acceptability of India in the comity of nations as a benign power. From the USA and Europe to Africa, South East Asia and South Asia, Exercise MILAN has over the years attracted naval forces from all over the world as the Indian Navy showcased its profile as a security
