With the raising of India’s second spaceport in about two years, India will join a select league of nations that have more than one such satellite launch site. The foundation stone of this second spaceport, situated in Tamil Nadu’s Kulasekarapattinam in Thoothukudi district, was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 28. The new spaceport is a significant milestone for the Indian Space Research Organsation (ISRO) and will greatly enhance India’s standing in the comity
