New Delhi: 'Ideas Of India Summit', a series of ABP Network events, has entered its third edition. It is planned for February 23 and 24 and will feature prominent figures from several fields. Renowned Tamil director Atlee will also be part of the session. He will be addressing the session ‘How to make a blockbuster’, with his record of blockbuster films like ‘Jawan’, ‘Theri’, ‘Mersal’, ‘Bigil’, and share his perspective and glimpses of his journey in the entertainment industry.


Atlee will also address his journey, how he made it with guts to glory after having worked with the biggest superstars in the industry.


Indian film director, screenwriter Atlee is most recognised for his work in Tamil films. Initially, he assisted S. Shankar was a director on the films ‘Enthiran’ (2010) and ‘Nanban’ (2012). With the Fox Star Studios-produced movie ‘Raja Rani’ (2013), he made his directing debut. For this film, he won the Tamil Nadu State award for best dialogue writer as well as the Vijay Award for Best Debut Director.


He directed the Vijay-starring flicks ‘Theri’ (2016), ‘Mersal’ (2017), and ‘Bigil’ (2019), all of which were economically successful at the box office and garnered multiple awards. He subsequently directed ‘Jawan’ (2023), the Hindi-language film starring Shah Rukh Khan, which became his highest-grossing film.

The 'Ideas Of India Summit' is ABP Network's flagship event that brings together the best of the best on a single platform to delve into the numerous similarities and vast differences that make up the world's largest democracy — 'India, that is Bharat'. February 23 and 24 will see the annual event's third edition come right ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2024 and set 'The People's Agenda'.


The previous two editions — with their themes 'Naya India' and 'Open-Minds Open Minds' — were extremely successful in bringing out the ideas and concepts that drive India, and the third edition promises to be nothing less.
