Ideas Of India: ABP Network is gearing up to host the fourth edition of its much-awaited Ideas of India Summit on February 21-22, 2025, at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt Hotel. Known for sparking meaningful conversations, the summit will bring together influential thought leaders, policymakers, business innovators, and cultural icons for a dynamic two-day exchange of ideas.In addition to a distinguished group of speakers, the event will also showcase prominent figures from Bollywood and the creative industry, adding even more diversity to the lineup. Renowned Indian classical musicians Taufiq Qureshi and Bickram Ghosh will be present for the 'Wah Ustads: Magic at their Fingertips' session.
The session will take place from 1:50 OM on Friday, February 21, 2025 and will be moderated by anchor Romana Isar Khan.
About Taufiq Qureshi
Taufiq Qureshi is an Indian classical musician. He is a composer and percussionist. Qureshi's elder brother was the legendary Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain. Taufiq Qureshi began his career under the guidance of Ghatam Vidhwan, Pandit Vikku Vinayakram.
Qureshi began his career at a very young age when he was still in his 20s.He began giving live performances back in 1986-87. Taufiq Qureshi was also featured in the 2009 Grammy Award-winning album 'Global Drum Project, Remember Shakti'. Qureshi is also known for creating artistic nuances through sound and has worked on several TV serials, ad-jingles, albums, film background scores and more.
About Bickram Ghosh
Bickram Ghosh is also an Indian classical table player. Ghosh learnt Tabla from his father, Pandit Shankar Ghosh. Ghosh has also performed with legends like Ali Akbar Khan and Pandit Ravi Shankar. Ghosh also has a band called Rythmscape, which performs neo-fusion music and was founded in 2001.
