In this test, a Hemoglobin level of less than 5.7 percent is normal, 5.7 to 6.4 percent can be pre-diabetes and 6.5 percent or more can indicate Type 2 diabetes. Diabetes Type 2 can also be detected through a random blood sugar test. If you report a high blood sugar level of 200 mg/dL and a blood sugar level of 126 mg/dL while fasting, you may have Type 2 diabetes.
