The number of thyroid patients is increasing all over the world. Today, 4 out of every 10 people are troubled by thyroid-related problems.  The thyroid is a butterfly-shaped gland on the inside of the neck near the collarbone. It is a kind of endocrine gland, from which hormones are secreted. Problems related to the thyroid is most common in women.


There are two types of thyroid – hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Many times people do not even get to know about thyroid problems. Today we are telling you the early symptoms of thyroid and ways to avoid it.

Eat these things when you have thyroid (Thyroid diet)  


1- Iodine- Iodine must be included in the diet of thyroid patients. You should consume iodine-rich food. This reduces the side effects of the thyroid gland.


2- Fish- If you have thyroid-related problems, you must eat fish. Iodine is abundant in all fishes, but most of the iodine is found in marine fish.


3- Dairy products- If you have thyroid-related problems, you should use more milk, curd, cheese and other dairy products. They contain adequate amounts of calcium, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. 


4- Liquorice- Many nutrients are found in liquorice to balance the thyroid gland. The problem of fatigue and weakness is reduced by eating liquorice. 


5- Soy- Thyroid patients must eat soybean products such as soy milk, tofu or soybeans in food. They contain chemicals that keep hormones in balance. However, along with this you also need to control the amount of iodine.
