New Delhi: North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) Mayor Jai Prakash on Saturday claimed that at least 23 Covid-19 patients left the civic body-run Hindu Rao Hospital between April 19 and May 6 without informing the facility.

He added that similar incidents are taking place even in Delhi Government hospitals.

“Twenty-three patients have left the hospital without informing anyone between April 19 and May 6. If some patient is admitted, they leave without informing since they might be getting better facilities elsewhere. It is happening even in Delhi government hospitals,” PTI quoted Prakash as saying.

Prakash said the Delhi Police has been informed about such patients.
