New Delhi: India on Saturday reported 3,614 fresh COVID-19 cases and 5,185 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
Notably, the number of COVID-related deaths drop below 100 with 89 deaths yesterday.
The new coronavirus infections took the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 4,29,87,875, while the active cases dipped to 40,559.

According to the Union Health Ministry data, the death toll climbed to 5,15,803.
The active cases comprise 0.09 per cent of the total infections, while the daily positivity rate was recorded as 0.44 per cent.
The number of people who have recuperated from COVID-19 increased to 4,24,31,513.
The cumulative vaccine doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive exceeded 179.91 crores.
Coronavirus Cases In Kerala, Maharashtra, Delhi
Kerala recorded 1,175 new positive cases and 73 COVID-19-related deaths on Friday taking the caseload in the state to 65,19,125 and the death toll to 66,762.
Of the deaths, two were reported in the last 24 hours, seven were those which occurred in the last few days but were not recorded due to late receipt of documents and 64 were designated as COVID-19 deaths after receiving appeals based on the new guidelines of the Centre and the directions of the Supreme Court, the state government stated.
Meanwhile, 1,612 people recovered from COVID-19 taking the total cured in the state to 64,41,033.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Friday recorded 318 new coronavirus cases and one pandemic-related death.
The state's COVID-19 caseload rose to 78,70,627, and death toll reached 1,43,750.
Mumbai and Pune cities recorded 54 and 47 new infections but no deaths.
As many as 355 patients recovered since previous evening, taking the number of recovered people to 77,19,949. The recovery rate in the state is 98.09 per cent.
There are 2,925 active COVID-19 patients in Maharashtra now.
On the other hand, Delhi recorded zero fatality due to the coronavirus for the second consecutive day on Friday and 174 cases, with a positivity rate of 0.45 per cent, according to data shared by the health department here.
The death toll stands at 26,140 and the number of active cases is 860.
