Coronavirus cases daily update 25 August 2020: India has tested more than 3.5 crore people for Covid-19 so far, resolutely following its 'test track treat' strategy, the health ministry has said in a statement.

India on Tuesday witnessed another massive surge in its Covid-19 cases with over 60,000 cases reported in a day and over 800 fatalities, pushing the overall tally to over 31.67 lakh. As per the Union Ministry of Family & Welfare, India's Covid-19 case tally crosses 31 lakh mark with 60,975 fresh cases and 848 deaths in the last 24 hours. Over 3.5 crore tests conducted so far: The total number of samples tested up to 24th August is 3,68,27,520 including 9,25,383 samples tested yesterday, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said.
