DDC Election Results, J&K: BJP Emerges As Single Largest Party, Wins In Kashmir For First Time, Gupkar Alliance Crosses 100

The BJP on Tuesday won an election for the first time from any seat in Kashmir while facing regional heavyweights like the National Conference and the PDP.

ammu-Kashmir: The counting for the DDC Elections result continues on Wednesday and out of 280 seats, the results for 273 seats have been declared. The Farooq Abdullah lead Gupkar Alliance has declared victory on 140 seats while BJP has emerged as the single largest party by winning 74 seats. Congress : has also won 25 seats while the APNI party has got 12 seats. The independent parties have also performed well and have attained 49 seats.
