Xbox Series X price is tipped to be increased in India, again. Microsoft’s current-gen flagship console has seen a total of three price hikes this year, with the latest increase making the Xbox Series X dearer by Rs 55,900. Alongside the Series X, there will also be a price hike for several Xbox controllers and accessories. There’s no word yet on a price hike for the Xbox Series S. Notably, Sony hasn’t announced any price hike for the PlayStation 5 as of yet. 


Word of the latest price hike comes from known gaming analyst and writer Rishi Alwani, who tweeted that Xbox Series X retailers were informed of the hike on November 3. He added that the Xbox Series X price hike will come into effect this month. 






The Xbox Series X will now be priced at Rs 55,990. The console was launched in 2020 at Rs 49,990. 


The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will be priced at Rs 17,990, marking a Rs 2,000 increase from its launch price of Rs 15,990. 


The Xbox Series X/S Controller (along with USB-C cable) will now be priced at Rs 5,990, compared to the launch price of Rs 5,390.

The Xbox Wireless Controller (Mineral Camo Special Edition) will now be priced at Rs 6,990 — a Rs 600 increase from its launch price of Rs 6,390. The controller’s Robot White edition will now be priced at Rs 5,990, the Shock Blue variant will now be priced at Rs 6,590, and lastly, the Electric Volt model will now bt priced at Rs 6,590 — each seeing a hike of nearly Rs 700. The Xbox Elite 2 accessories pack will now be priced at Rs 5,390.
