New Delhi: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the upcoming instalment in Activision’s annual first-person shooter series, may drop its campaign gameplay trailer on June 9, as per a known tipster. Announced earlier this year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be developed by Infinity Ward, the same studio behind the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy as well as the critically acclaimed 2019 series reboot, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Separately, another tipster offered a glimpse into the next major battle royale from the franchise, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

On May 22, reliable Call of Duty tipster @CODMW2Informer tweeted that the first campaign gameplay trailer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will drop on June 9. The leak suggested that the trailer will be four minutes long.

It should be noted that neither Infinity Ward nor publisher Activision has offered any details on a Modern Warfare 2 gameplay trailer, so this report should be considered with a pinch of salt. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release sometime later this year. An exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Separately, another tipster, Tom Henderson, reported that the rumoured battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone 2, may come with an “interrogation feature” that will allow players to question downed enemies to figure out their teammates’ location. It appears that this may work in the same way as the interrogation feature seen in Rainbow Six Siege.

The report also tipped that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 may feature armour vests for players, a bag system to let players carry more items, Pro perks to gain an upper hand over enemies, and new points of interest (POI) called Strongholds.
