New Delhi: Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who has often stated her willingness to work on a South movie, spoke candidly about the Southern actors she hopes to work with.
Janhvi recently disclosed that she wishes to collaborate with Jr. NTR and Vijay Sethupathi in an interview. She also recounted a day when, after the watching of his film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan', she rang Vijay.
While speaking to Galatta Plus, Janhvi stated, “I love Vijay sir. After watching Naanum Rowdy for the 100th time, I realized someone had his number and I called him up. I was like ‘Sir I am a huge fan and if you ever have anything I can audition for it, I really want to work with you.’”
When questioned about Vijay's response, the actor said,“He just kept saying ‘aiyo, aiyo.’ I don’t know if he was offended or shy. He seemed surprised because I was this forward, I think he was taken aback.”
Speaking of Jr. NTR in the same interview, Janhvi cracked a joke about him issuing a restraining order if she keeps bringing him up. “I just think there is a josh that he brings every time he is on screen, like a power. I don’t know it’s his swagger, his timing, his likeability and charm and I can just go on. I am sounding like a stalker,” she said.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor, was most recently seen in 'Mili' alongside Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa. The film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film titled 'Helen'. Additionally, she has a number of movies in pipeline, including 'Bawaal' with Varun Dhawan and 'Mr. & Mrs. Mahi' with Rajkummar Rao.
