New Delhi: On Friday, producers of the new comedy show ‘Pop Kaun’ released the show's official trailer. Satish Kaushik, who died on Thursday at the age of 66, will also be part of the show which is set to feature on Disney Plus Hotstar. Satish Kaushik is featured in a few funny bits in the almost 2-minute-long trailer.


Actor Kunal Kemmu posted the trailer on Instagram with the caption, "A salute to the legend of comedy, @satishkaushik2178 ji whose work made us smile for years :) #HotstarSpecials #PopKaun - all episodes streaming from 17th March only on @disneyplushotstar."






Kunal also sent a tribute to the late actor-director on his Instagram story. He wrote, “I still can’t believe this news!! Just a few days ago we were laughing together promoting our show. Sir, your stories, your charm, your laughter and your immense talent will always be cherished and remembered. We will always keep you alive in our thoughts and memories. Love, strength and prayers to the family. Om Shanti.”


Farhad Samji is the director of the show which also features Johny Lever, Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Panday and Nupur Sanon.


Talking about the project, Johnny Lever earlier said, “From old school punches to new age gags, Pop Kaun has it all. With Pop Kaun, I’m making my digital debut and what better way to enter into the digital world than to be a part of the biggest comedy show of the year. The creation and direction of Farhad Samji takes the show to newer heights and we are really excited for audiences to enjoy this laughter riot on Disney+ Hotstar.”


‘Pop Kaun,’ is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from March 17th.
