New Delhi: Ranveer Singh is on the promotional tour for his upcoming film 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. Recently, as part of its promotional activity, the actor was seen on the sets of 'The Kapil Sharma Show.
Ranveer was accompanied by his 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' co-star Shalini Pandey to the comedy show. As Kapil asks Ranveer Singh about Deepika Padukone, Archana Puran Singh interrupts Kapil to suggest he should ask, "Bhabhi ji kaisi hain (How's my sister-in-law)?" Ranveer's answer also leaves everyone in splits.
In a video snippet that Sony TV shared on its official Instagram page, we see Ranveer Sigh saying, "10 sal se iski Deepu, Deepu main bhi dekh raha hu, isiliye jab Kapil ki shadi hui thi, maine kaha, ‘Baby, tu aur main saath chalenge’ (I have been seeing Kapil flirting with Deepika since a decade, so when he was getting married, I told her, Baby, you and I will go together).”
In another promo video that the channel shared, we see Kapil Sharma complimenting Ranveer Singh's energy levels by drawing jokes on him. In one instance, he shared that if one were to place a batter dead phone on energetic Ranveer's hand, it would automatically get charged. Taking the joke forward, Kapil involved Archana Puran Singh by saying she has a similar kind of energy : "neeche padi hai, thodi thodi leti rahti hain (she keeps on taking small pegs behind the table).”
Kapil also asked Raveer Singh to translate old Bollywood movies dialogue which the latter very confidently does in Gujarati in a Jayeshbhai style.
