New Delhi: Actor Vikrant Massey married his long-term partner Sheetal Thakur on February 18 in the company of his family and close friends, according to Hindu rites. Following their marriage, they are both sharing photos from the pre-wedding function with their Instagram followers.
On Wednesday, new bride Sheetal Thakur posted photos of herself in a crimson bridal gown on Instagram. The actress appears to be quite pleased and to be having a good time at the wedding, as seen by the photos.
She was also seen wearing a large gold nose ring, which is customary and an important jewellery for Himachali brides. The images showed her family's ladies assisting her in putting on the crimson chooda in preparation for her wedding. Sheetal was also spotted wearing kaleeras and silver anklets throughout the ceremonies.
Sheetal captioned the photos, “Making of a Himachali bride". Sheetal's bridal outfit wowed Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who is also from Himachal Pradesh. In the comment area, she wrote, "Gorgeous" and closed her statement with a bunch of heart-eye emoticons.
Sumona Chakravarti, a Bollywood actress and comedian who also attended Vikrant and Sheetal’s wedding, commented on the stunning photos, writing, "Sundari."
