New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan' has been the talk of the town for quite some time. With a diverse cast like Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Deepika Padukone in special appearance, a new addition has been reported. South star Viay Sethupathi is said to portray the villain in Atlee's 'Jawan'.

According to a PeepingMoon report, Vijay Sethupathi will star in 'Jawan' with SRK.

"SRK and Atlee were keen on casting Vijay Sethupathi after Rana Daggubati backed out of the film, citing scheduling conflict due to his ill health. SRK and Sethupathi share a great admiration for each other, and hence, when SRK himself offered Sethupathi this role in Jawan, he couldn’t refuse it. The Super Deluxe actor has altered his entire shooting diary to accommodate Jawan in between at SRK’s request," PeepingMoon report said.

Soon after the news was shared by many fan clubs on Twitter, many began trending an old video of SRK in which the star is seen praising Vijay.

In an old video that has been doing the rounds on social media, we see Shah Rukh Khan complimenting Vijay and saying, "I don't know how to say this and I want to compliment you. You are the most wonderful actor I have ever seen in my life."

Take a look.

SRK is currently shooting Raj Kumar Hirani's 'Dunki' in Budapest with Taapsee Pannu. Shah Rukh will resume shooting for 'Jawan' in the second week of August, TimesNow reported.

'Jawan' is being touted as a pan-India film with a massive budget. A popular action mass-entertainer, 'Jawan' will allegedly wrap up in November and be released on June 2, 2023.
