'Sam Bahadur' actor Vicky Kaushal has tested positive for COVID-19. The 'Bhoot' actor shared the news on his social media and revealed that he is under home quarantine.



Vicky Kaushal disclosed in his post that despite taking all the precautions, he has tested positive for COVID-19. He further informed that he is following all the precautionary measures and is under home quarantine. The actor is under medication prescribed by his doctor. The note shared by Vicky Kaushal read, “Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe.”


Vicky Kaushal is the son of action director Sham Kaushal. He made his acting debut with the movie ‘Masaan’ in the year 2015. Before venturing into the world of acting, he assisted director Anurag Kashyap in the popular crime drama film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’.


Before establishing himself as one of the leading actors in the country, Vicky rose to prominence with his impactful supporting roles in movies like ‘Sanju’ and ‘Raazi’. He has also starred in movies like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, ‘Love Per Square Foot’, ‘Lust Stories’, ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’, ‘Manmarziyaan’ and many more.


Vicky Kaushal received the National Award for his performance as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in the movie ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.


Vicky Kaushal will be next seen starring in Sam Manekshaw’s biopic ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘Sardar Udham Singh’, ‘The Great Indian Family’ and ‘Mr Lele’.


Other than Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have also tested positive for COVID-19 in recent days.
