Mumbai: The wait is finally over as Bollywood’s heartthrob Varun Dhawan got married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal in an intimate ceremony at Alibaug today. The lovebirds took the wedding vows in front of their family members as they promised to be with one another forever.

Varun and Natasha tied the knot according to Hindu customs and rituals reportedly at Alibaug’s ‘The Mansion House’. Many Bollywood celebrities attended the ‘Coolie No 1’ star’s wedding. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who gave Varun his first break in the Hindi film industry with ‘Student Of The Year’ reached the venue earlier today. Also, designer Manish Malhotra reached ‘The Mansion House’ yesterday where Varun and Natasha got married as the groom wore clothes designed by him for his big day.
During the time of Varun and Natasha's wedding, many songs of Hindi films have been played. Salman Khan's Tenu Leke Main Javanga (Salaam-e-Ishq) and groom Varun's song 'Badri Ki Dulhaniya' were also played. DJ Bosco also remixed some of the Hindi and Punjabi songs. Salman’s song ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ was also played during the ceremony.
Varun and Natasha’s family members reached Alibaug on January 22, two days ahead of their wedding for the pre-wedding festivities - Haldi and Mehendi ceremony followed by the sangeet on January 23. Our own Badrinath’s ‘Dulhaniya’, Natasha Dalal followed the footsteps of Deepika Padukone, Isha Ambani and Kajal Aggarwal, who hired popular mehndi artist Veena Nagda for their wedding.
While Varun is one of the most prominent names in the Hindi film industry, Natasha is an established fashion designer and has a brand name of her own. After completing her studies in New York, she returned to India in 2013. She is the ‘October’ actor’s childhood friend.
Well, despite being friends from childhood, the ‘Badlapur’ actor got rejected by his ladylove three to four times. Their love story began during a music concert when they were both were studying in 11th or 12th standard.
Also, keeping in mind the current COVID-19 pandemic, the couple has only invited selected guests at their wedding. Not only this, the guests had to undergo a Coronavirus test in Mumbai before the wedding as a precautionary measure.
Reportedly, Varun and Natasha will host a wedding reception for their industry friends in Mumbai.
