New Delhi: Internet users have constantly been criticising Urvashi Rautela for stalking cricketer Rishabh Pant. It started with Urvashi’s cryptic post about ‘travelling to Australia’. Rishabh is also in Australia for his T20 World Cup. Urvashi came a few days after the cricketer and the rest of Team India did. Several people have taken to social media to appeal that Urvashi should stop bothering Rishabh while he prepares for the World Cup. Now, the actress shared a video and addressed recent claims against Rishabh Pant.
Urvashi posted a video on Instagram in which she seems to be wandering in a saree during a photo shoot. In the caption, she compared herself to Mahsa Amini who tragically passed away in Iran. After the detention and apparent suicide of the 22-year-old woman in Tehran at the hands of the Iranian morality police, widespread protests broke out throughout the country.
In Urvashi’s latest post, she said she was being bullied, called a stalker, and that nobody cared about or supported her. She wrote, “First in Iran Mahsa Amini and now in India… it’s happening with me they’re bullying me as a stalker??? No one cares about me or supports me… A strong woman is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. Her tears flow as abundantly as her laughter. She is both soft and powerful, is both practical and spiritual. She’s a gift to the world.”
For the unversed, the public spat between Rishabh Pant and Urvashi started when the latter made a statement about ‘RP’ in a recent interview. Rishabh Pant then took to Instagram and indirectly targeted the actress and then Urvashi took to Instagram to share a cryptic note targeted at Pant.
