New Delhi: Actress and politician Urmila Matondkar has tested positive for coronavirus. The ‘Bas Ek Pal’ actress took to her Twitter and revealed that she has isolated herself and is currently under home quarantine.
Urmila Matondkar tweeted, “I've tested positive for #COVID19 I'm fine n have isolated myself in home quarantine. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately. Also humbly request all you lovely people to take care of yourselves during the Diwali festivities.”
Also, on the occasion of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary, Urmila tweeted with a picture, “#ONENONLY #IronLady Humble tribute to one of the greatest daughters of India!! #IndiraGandhi”.
As today marks Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary, Urmila paid a heartfelt tribute to the 1st Deputy Prime Minister of India in a tweet.
Urmila Matondkar also came out in support of Shah Rukh Khan after his son Aryan Khan walked out of Arthur Road jail on Saturday. The star kid was arrested by the NCB on October 3 after raiding an alleged cruise ship rave party.
The ‘Khoobsurat’ actress tweeted, “Person's true character is revealed in tough times. Truly amazed at the dignity, grace,maturity n strength @iamsrk has shown in d most trying n pressurizing times. Proud to have you as my colleague. U remain absolutely the Best!! Much love. God bless”.
Shah Rukh Khan and Urmila Matondkar has starred together in the 1992 fantasy comedy film ‘Chamatkar’. The movie also featured Naseeruddin Shah in a pivotal role.
