New Delhi: Many deaths have been reported in the second wave of COVID-19 in India. With the increasing number of corona positive cases with each passing day, there has been a shortage of resources as hospitals are running short of beds, oxygen cylinders and other necessary equipment. Many celebrities have also breathed their last in this second wave of the coronavirus pandemic which includes Bikramjeet Kanwarpal, Shravan Rathod and others.


Well, another celebrity has bid goodbye to this world. Actor, popular Youtuber and social media influencer Rahul Vohra succumbed to COVID-19 hours after sharing an update about his health on social media. Rahul Vohra was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Tahirpur, Delhi for 8 days but he was unhappy with the treatment of the hospital. Due to his worsening health, he wanted to get admitted to a good hospital and get his treatment. 


Rahul took to his official Facebook account and wrote, “Mujhe bhi treatment acha mil jata, To main bhi bach jata tumhaara Irahul Vohra”. He also shared the details of himself as a patient and ended his note by saying, “Jald janam lunga or acha kaam karunga. Ab himmat haar chuka hu (I will be reborn soon and do some good work. Now, I have lost all courage).

Theatre director-playwright Arvind Gaur shared the news of his passing away with a heartfelt note on his social media. He wrote in Hindi, “Irahul Vohra is gone. My promising actor is no more.”


He further wrote, “Yesterday evening he was shifted from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital to Ayushman, Dwarka, but..Rahul we all could not save you, sorry we are your culprits..”



Arvind Gaur, who returned from Rahul Vohra's funeral on Sunday afternoon, told ABP News, “On Saturday, we shifted Rahul from Rajiv Gandhi Hospital to Delhi's Ayushman Hospital located in Dwarka. But sadly, despite this, we could not save Rahul.”


He added, “Rahul's lungs were damaged up to 95 per cent due to corona. A week ago, due to fever and other symptoms of COVID-19, he was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital.”


Before becoming a popular Youtuber, Rahul was associated with Arvind Gaur between 2006 and 2011. The 35-year-old star was popular for making videos on current social issues. He also starred in the film ‘Unfreedom’ where he portrayed the role of a right-wing leader.
