New Delhi: Vivek Agnihotri was recently trolled on Twitter for his latest dig at the 'Pathaan' song 'Besharam Rang'. It so happened that 'The Kashmir Files' filmmaker shared a video on Twitter where a young girl criticized the song 'Besharam Rang'. His upload was not well received by netizens, and he received harsh trolling for criticising Shah Rukh and Deepika's song.
Netizens took to the comments section to pour in their views. They reminded him of his erotic thriller 'Hate Story' and shared the posters of the movie. A user commented, "Vivek ji.. Pathan movie to abhi release bhi nhi hui... Aise lag rha ki ye ladki aapki film Hate Story ke baare mein bol rhi hai..."
Sharing one of his interviews, one of them wrote, "Hello Vivekagnihotri, Remember? Warning: Don’t watch it if you are a hypocrite."
Prior to this, Vivek had made headlines for another indirect dig at Besharam Rang. He tweeted, "First Insta reels used to look like bad copies of Bollywood songs. Now Bollywood songs look like bad copies of Insta reels."
Vivek Agnihotri is currently working on his next project 'The Vaccine War', after directing 'The Kashmir Files', one of the highest-grossing movies of 2022. On the other hand, 'Pathaan', starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika, will hit theatres on January 25, 2023.
Meanwhile, the movie 'Pathaan' has been in news and facing boycott calls post the release of its song 'Besharam Rang' featuring Deepika and Shah Rukh on December 12. A section of people is reacting to Deepika's outfit and its colour. Also, the dance moves seem to garner a lot of negative reactions from some people. Given all of these, on Thursday, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) directed the makers to implement 'changes' in the film, including its songs, before the film was released.
