Ever since producer Boney Kapoor has joined Instagram, he often digs up old pictures of his late wife and actor Sridevi to post on social media. Taking to his Instagram handle on Tuesday, Boney shared a throwback picture of his late wife, in which she can be seen donning a white saree during Durga Puja celebrations.
The picture dates back to 2012 in Lucknow. He shared in the caption, "In Lucknow celebrating one of the festivities of Durga Puja at Sahara Sahar in year 2012."
In the photo, the 'Hawa Hawai' beauty can be seen smiling, with the name 'Boney' written on her back. The photo is now viral on social media with fans remembering the late actress.
Before this, the film producer shared a memory from Cannes. He wrote: 'We both had a sweet tooth, she had control of how much to have and me no control."
Earlier he had shared another cozy pic of the couple from their Alaska trip.
Boney and Sridevi got married in 1996 and were blessed with two daughters - Janhvi and Khushi. Unfortunately, on 24 February 2018, she was found dead of an accidental drowning in her guest room at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The late actress last film was 'Mom' movie released in 2017, Sridevi earned high critical acclaim for her performance and also recieved a national award posthumously.
The late legendary actress acted in 300 films in a career spanning over 5 decades. Her last onscreen appearance was in the 2018 film Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The segment featuring Sridevi was shot way before her death.
Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor is all set for hie Bollywood debut in Luv Ranjan's untitled film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.
