New Delhi: Leading GEC Zee TV will honour its artists at the much-awaited Zee Rishtey Awards 2020. The awards ceremony, which took place in Mumbai on Saturday (December 5), will air on December 27 on the channel. Zee Rishtey Awards are considered as one of the biggest award shows on Indian television as all the actors of different shows of Zee TV come together under one roof for the grand celebrations.

Popular celebs including Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Pearl V Puri, Juhi Parmar, Shraddha Arya, Rajveer Singh were snapped at the red carpet of Zee Rishtey Awards 2020 on Saturday evening. Several small screen stars including Shraddha Arya, Kanika Maan, Reem Shaikh performed at the gala time. The fans are eagerly waiting to see Ankita Lokhande's performance as she paid a tribute to late Sushant Singh Rajput through her special act.

Ankita, while talking to the media at the awards show, dedicated her performance to Sushant Singh Rajput's fans and called her act 'special'. She urged all her followers to watch Zee Rishtey Awards 2020 and shower love on the artists. Check out the video!



Ankita Lokhande shot to fame after essaying the role of Archana in Zee TV's 'Pavitra Rishta'. The show ran for five long years and completed over 1000 episodes. Ankita and Sushant fell in love on the sets of Ekta Kapoor's show. Their break in 2016 had set several tongues wagging.

On the professional front, Ankita made her Bollywood debut with 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', which released in 2019. She was last seen in Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Baaghi 3'.

The Marathi mulgi had shared a video from the rehearsal along with the caption, "his time it’s very different and difficult to perform .From me to u." The clip went viral on social media in no time.



The actress has provided rock solid support to Sushant Singh Rajput's family after his death. The 'Dil Bechara' actor was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14. Three Central agencies including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are investigating SSR's death case.
