A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Palak will make her debut on the small screen with the spin-off of YRKKH.
The makers feel that Palak would be suitable to play a pivotal role in the show, the report added.
"Makers of the show feel that Palak would be perfect for a pivotal role on the show. She was the first choice given her acting talent and fresh face in the television industry. Makers hope that her strong screen presence and her performance is well-received by the audiences and they shower their love and appreciation on her for her character," a source close to the production team told India Forums.
It was earlier said that Palak would play the lead role in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. Her mother Shweta Tiwari had played the role of Prerna in the original show which ran for close to seven years. Erica Fernandes has stepped into the shoes of Shweta and is currently winning hearts as Prerna.

Interestingly, Palak is rumoured to be making her Bollywood debut with a film titled ‘Quickie’ opposite Darsheel Safari.
Talking about ‘Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke’, the show will also star Ritvik Arora, Sangeeta Kapure, Sanjeev Jotangia, Rupal Patel, Deepak Gheewala and Chaitrali Gupte. The cast and crew of the show recently organized a hawan ceremony before kick-starting the shoot.
