Producer Rajan Shahi's popular Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Mohsin Khan & Shivangi Joshi in lead roles, recently completed 10 years. Post which, the reports suggested that the makers of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' are working on the show's spin-off series. Recently, Rajan Shahi confirmed the same adding that 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' actor Shaheer Sheikh will play the lead role in 'Yeh Rishta...' spin-off making the fans super-excited. Now according to latest reports, the show's makers have also finalized the lead actress opposite Shaheer.

Reportedly, TV actress Rhea Sharma will romance Shaheer Sheikh in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off. Rhea Sharma, who was last seen playing the lead role of 'Kanak' in popular Star Plus show 'Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji', will surely look great with Shaheer Sheikh onscreen. However, the actress and 'Yeh Rishta...' spin-off makers are yet top react on the same.

'Piya Albela' actress Chaitrali Gupte ROPED in for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai SPIN-OFF!

Speaking about the spin-off of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', the makers are reportedly in talks with many popular names from the TV industry. As reported earlier, 'Tu Aashiqui' fame Ritvik Arora might be seen playing the parallel lead whereas actress Snageeta Kapure will be seen as antagonist. However, the official announcement from the makers' side is expected soon as the show will reportedly go on floors in the coming weeks.

For the uninitiated, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' went on-air 10 years ago in 2009 with Hina Khan & Karan Mehra in lead roles. After being a part of 'Yeh Rishta...' for around 8 years, Hina & Karan quit the show post which Shivangi & Mohsin were introduced as the new leads.

Coming back to Rhea Sharma, the gorgeous actress made her TV debut with Sony TV's 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar' post which she featured in shows like 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' & 'Kahani Hamari... Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki'. Post which, she rose to fame after playing lead role in 'Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji'. Last seen in a guest appearance in ZEE TV's top-rated show 'Kumkum Bhagya', Rhea was also a part of Sushant Singh Rajput & Disha Patani's hit film 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story'.
