Popular Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Mohsin Khan & Shivangi Joshi in the lead roles of Kartik & Naira, completed 10 years last month. As per the current track, Naira has lost her memory whereas Kartik will try to win her love back by entering her life as a stranger. But, here comes an interesting twist. The makers of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'  will soon introduce a new character who will be shown as the new guy in Naira's life.

According to an entertainment portal, the makers have already roped in a popular name for the important role.

The India Forums report states that, "Varun Toorkey will enter the show as a new guy opposite Shivangi Joshi aka Naira."

However, the confirmation is still awaited as the actor and makers are yet to react on the same.

On the professional front, Varun Toorkey made his TV debut with popular Colors show 'Uttaran' & rose to fame with 'Qubool Hai' & 'Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein'. He was last seen playing an important role in Star Bharat's 'Saam Daam Dand Bhed'.
